Man Seriously Injured in Southeast Drive Crash Identified

 

LUBBOCK, TX – The Lubbock Police Department’s Major Crash Unit is currently investigating a serious accident that occurred Monday afternoon. 

The crash, which took place around 4:43 p.m. on the 6200 block of Southeast Drive, resulted in significant injuries to one of the drivers involved.

According to initial reports, a silver truck driven by 49-year-old Benjamin Henderson was heading northwest on Southeast Drive when it collided with a white truck driven by 22-year-old Stetson Wilke. 

The collision happened at the intersection with the Southeast Loop 289 access road.

EMS transported Henderson to University Medical Center, where he is being treated for serious injuries. 

The Lubbock Police Department is still investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, and further details will be provided as they become available.
