One Injured in Pile-Up Underneath Loop 289

LUBBOCK, TX — Lubbock Police officers and other emergency services responded to a call of a four-car crash near the overpass of South Loop 289 on East Slaton Rd on Monday, September 23.

Check out a video of the scene below:

At around 12:20 p.m. on Monday, a grey Nissan Altima looked to have rear-ended a silver Ford Taurus, which then caused a chain reaction, hitting the other two cars. The Taraus hit a Chevy Suburban, finally hitting a white GMC Sierra Truck. The extent of the damage is unknown, but the Altima and the Taurus had obvious front-end damage. The airbags in both of those vehicles were also deployed.
