SUV Collides with Semi Truck in Lubbock, Driver Injured

 

LUBBOCK, TX – A car crash at the intersection of US 62/82 and FM 400 left one person injured on Tuesday night.

According to a press release, the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene around 4:25 p.m., where deputies found a gray four-door SUV under the trailer of a white semi-truck. Reports state the SUV attempted to turn north onto FM 400 but struck the semi-truck.

EMS transported the driver of the SUV to Covenant Medical Center with injuries. The driver of the semi-truck was not injured in the incident.

Authorities have cleared the roadway, and traffic has returned to normal. 

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
