ODESSA, TX— A crash on Saturday afternoon in Odessa, Texas, claimed the life of a juvenile riding a motorized scooter, according to the Odessa Police Department.
The incident occurred around 12:54 p.m. at the intersection of Riverboat and Cajun Streets. Emergency responders from Odessa Police and Odessa Fire Rescue arrived on the scene to find the juvenile fatally injured as a result of the crash.
As reported by Midland's CBS7, following a review of video evidence and GPS data, investigators determined the driver of the vehicle was not at fault. As of now, no charges have been filed.
Authorities have not released the name of the juvenile or additional details about the incident. The investigation remains ongoing.
