MIDLAND, TX – A crash involving a car and a semi-truck on Sunday night in Midland County left one person dead and another injured, according to city officials.
The crash occurred around 8:20 p.m. at the intersection of State Highway 349 and East County Road 160. Emergency crews from the Midland Fire Department quickly responded to the scene.
Authorities confirmed that the driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. The semi-truck driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation. Further details about the individuals involved have not been released.
