Crash Closes Lanes on North Indiana Avenue

 

LUBBOCK, TX — A crash early Thursday morning, December 13th, in the 3300 block of Baylor Street led to road closures and an investigation by the Lubbock Police Department’s Major Crash Unit.

According to a press release, officers responded to the scene at around 6:18 a.m. after reports of a collision with injuries. One person was seriously injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.

All lanes of North Indiana Avenue were closed between Colgate and Bates Streets for several hours during the investigation. The road closures have since been cleared, and traffic is back to normal.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, and authorities have not released further details, including the condition and identity of the injured person.

Drivers are urged to stay aware of any detours in the area. Updates will be provided as more information is released.
