24-Year-Old Motorcyclist Identified in Fatal Crash

 

LUBBOCK, TX — The Lubbock Police Department’s Major Crash Unit is investigating a deadly motorcycle crash early Monday morning, December 30, near 34th Street and Inler Avenue.

Officers were called to the scene around 2:30 a.m. after reports of a crash with injuries. When they arrived, they found that Justin Cone, 24, was riding a motorcycle westbound on 34th Street in the 8700 block. 

Cone lost control of the bike and was ejected off the bike.

Cone was taken to University Medical Center by EMS, where he was later pronounced dead.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, and police are trying to determine what caused it.
