Biker Dies in Terry County Crash on Saturday

WEST POINT, TX — A man from Brownfield was killed when his 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle veered out of control and off the highway into a roll.

According to the Texas DPS, Bradley Glenn Estenson, 32, of Brownfield was driving his Harley westbound on US 380. When approaching the County Road 595 intersection, Estenson failed to successfully navigate the lefthand curve in the roadway and departed the prepared surface into the north barrow ditch. The motorcycle entered a roll. The site of the crash is just west, northwest of West Point between Brownfield and Tahoka southwest of Lubbock.

DPS said Estenson was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of his extensive injuries.

The crash happened at 6:01 p.m. and sunset was at 6:28 p.m. The skies were clear and the roadway was dry, DPS said. Estenson was not wearing a helmet, according to the crash report.
