4 Car Pile-Up on Indiana at Loop 289 Snarls Traffic

LUBBOCK, TX — A four-vehicle accident occurred just before noon on Monday, February 24, 2025, at the intersection of S. Loop 289 and Indiana Ave. The crash, which took place on the south side of the loop at the Loop 289 service road and Indiana Ave., reduced traffic to a single lane on Indiana and the southern access road, causing significant delays.

The collision involved a blue Mitsubishi Lancer, which came to rest with its front wheels on top of an older green Ford F-150 pickup. A newer model F-150 also sustained damage, while a Subaru Baja struck a pole.

Airbags deployed in all four affected vehicles. An ambulance left the scene without transporting any patients, suggesting that no serious injuries occurred.
