Pedestrian Crash Closes Westbound Lanes on Erskine Street

 

LUBBOCK, TX — The Lubbock Police Department’s Major Crash Unit is investigating a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Erskine Street and Cesar E Chavez Drive.

According to a press release from LPD, officers were called to the scene at 12:01 p.m. on Monday, March 31, after reports of a vehicle that hit a pedestrian.

One person was transported to University Medical Center by ambulance with serious injuries. 

At this time, westbound lanes on Erskine Street are closed, and drivers are urged to avoid the area.
