Lubbock Police Identify Motorcyclist Killed in 4th & Slide Crash

 

LUBBOCK, TX – Lubbock Police officers are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred Thursday night in North Lubbock.

The incident took place around 8:07 p.m. on April 3 at the intersection of 4th Street and Slide Road.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found Richard Cisneros, 37, with serious injuries. He was rushed to University Medical Center via ambulance but later pronounced dead.

The investigation currently shows that Cisneros was heading south on Slide Road when his motorcycle was hit by an SUV driven by Amanda Salazar, 38. The SUV was turning north out of a parking lot at the time of the crash. 

No other injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made. 

This investigation is still ongoing.
