Late-Night Crash Causes Rollover on Indiana Avenue

LUBBOCK, TX — A rollover crash occurred on Indiana Avenue near the intersection of 92nd Street and Indiana Avenue on Thursday evening.

The crash occured at approximately 11:40 p.m. when a blue Ram 1500 truck and a white GMC Sierra truck crashed into each other. Although the cause of the crash is unknown, the collision caused the Ram 1500 to roll over. Airbags in both trucks were deployed.

Police communications indicated that the Lubbock Fire Department requested a JAWS unit to extract an occupant from a vehicle. Our reporter on the scene stated that an occupant was still in the white GMC Sierra at the time, but did not appear to be severely injured.

No EMS personel, nor an ambulance were observed by our reporter on the scene, but police communications also indicated that any injuries sustained were moderate.
