Possible Shooting at Lubbock Motel Under Investigation

LUBBOCK, TX – The Lubbock Police Department responded to reports of a gunshot wound on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at a motel located in the 600 block of Avenue Q.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene shortly after 4:45 p.m.

Authorities reported that one person sustained moderate injuries.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
