Amber Alert: 11-Year-Old Missing in Henderson County

 

HENDERSON COUNTY, TX – An Amber Alert has been issued for an 11-year-old girl who “is believed to have been picked up by an unknown subject" in Henderson County, East Texas.

The Texas Department of Public Safety reported that Mia James was last seen around 8:25 p.m. Thursday, November 14, in the 6200 block of County Road 3925 in Athens.

Mia is described as a white female, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing approximately 98 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing black shorts and a long-sleeved teal hoodie with the word "VENOM" written in glitter.

Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding Mia's whereabouts to come forward. The Henderson County Sheriff's Office can be reached at (903) 677-6311.
