Woman's Body Found at Central Lubbock Motel, LPD Investigating

 

LUBBOCK, TX — Authorities are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found at a motel in central Lubbock Sunday morning.

Officers with the Lubbock Metropolitan Special Crimes Unit responded to a call at approximately 8:44 a.m. on February 2 regarding a deceased person at Raider Inn located in the 900 block of Avenue Q.

When police arrived, they found Jennifer Licon, 39, inside a motel room. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
