Lamesa Man Booked on Child Felony Charges, Gang Gear Seized

LAMESA, TX – The Lamesa Police Department announced Thursday that a man has been taken into custody on a first-degree felony charge.

According to the press release, on Monday, February 24, officers executed an arrest warrant for Andrew Burdett Moore, 37, for a first-degree felony charge of Possession or Promotion of Child Pornography with the Intent to Distribute.

After his arrest, the Lamesa PD SWAT Team joined detectives in executing a search warrant at Moore’s residence at the 1500 block of County Road 14 in Lamesa.

Due to Moore’s known affiliations with the Bandido Motorcycle Club, the Lubbock Texas Anti-Gang (TAG) Unit provided additional support during the operation.

The search found multiple weapons, gang-related memorabilia, and electronics, all of which are being analyzed in connection with ongoing investigations.
