Texas Teen Added to Top 10 Most Wanted List

CONVERSE, TX — An 18-year-old from Converse, Texas, has been added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives List, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Joseph Harris, 18, is wanted in Bexar County for capital murder by terror threat and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Texas Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $3,000 for any information that leads to his arrest. All tips are guaranteed to remain anonymous.

Harris has a criminal history with past charges, including unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, theft of a firearm, evading arrest, unlawful carrying of a weapon, burglary of vehicles, and engaging in organized criminal activity.

Harris is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs around 150 pounds. He’s been on the run since February 24, and authorities are asking anyone who knows where he is to come forward.

So far in 2025, DPS and other law enforcement agencies have arrested 14 people from the Texas 10 Most Wanted list, including sex offenders and criminal illegal immigrants. $20,000 in rewards has been paid for tips leading to arrests.

If you have any information about Harris, you can submit a tip through:

  • Calling the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
  • Submitting a tip through the DPS website.
  • Sending a tip through Facebook by clicking the “SUBMIT A TIP” link under the “About” section.

All tips are anonymous, and tipsters will be given a tip number instead of using their name.

DPS works with local law enforcement to choose fugitives for the Texas 10 Most Wanted Lists. Photos and more details can be found on the DPS website.

Authorities remind the public not to try and arrest these fugitives themselves, as they are considered armed and dangerous.
