LUBBOCK, TX — A woman was taken into custody early Tuesday morning after an alleged break-in at a bar on Broadway Avenue.
According to court documents, the incident occurred around 4:00 a.m. on April 1, when Lubbock Police officers received an alarm down radio call about a possible burglary at BierHaus, located at 2009 Broadway Avenue.
When officers arrived at the scene, they witnessed Alyssa Franco, 28, running into the bar through the front doors. Upon further investigation, officers observed one of the front windows smashed, which appeared to be how she got inside.
Officers cleared the building and found Franco, where she was found holding an open White Claw can, half-drunk at the bar.
Given that BierHaus was closed and not open to the public at the time, court documents stated that it was clear she had entered the building without the owner’s consent.
