LORENZO, TX — The Texas Department of Public Safety has added a man from Lorenzo to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders list. Texas Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for any information that leads to his arrest.
According to a press release from DPS, Rodolfo Martinez Jr., 42, from Lorenzo in Crosby County, has been wanted by authorities since November 2024 for indecency with a child by sexual contact. In March 2025, a warrant was also issued for his arrest in Crosby County for failing to comply with sex offender registration rules.
Martinez Jr. has a history of serious offenses. In 2008, he was convicted of burglary with the intent to sexually abuse a 15-year-old girl and was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
He is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing around 185 pounds, and having tattoos on his face, chest, abdomen, right arm, and right hand.
Texas Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards for tips that lead to the arrests of people on the Texas 10 Most Wanted lists. So far this year, DPS and other law enforcement agencies have arrested 19 fugitives, including five sex offenders, with $22,000 in rewards given for tips that led to these arrests.
Anyone with information about Martinez Jr.'s location can provide tips through the following methods:
- Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477)
- Submit a web tip on the DPS website by selecting the fugitive’s photo
- Submit a tip via Facebook by clicking the “SUBMIT A TIP” link in the “About” section
All tips are anonymous, and tipsters will receive a tip number instead of using their name.
