Monterey High School Football Coach Arrested on DWI Charge

 

LUBBOCK, TX — Monterey High School's head football coach was arrested and booked into the Lubbock County Detention Center on Saturday morning, April 5.

According to public records, 43-year-old Judd Thrash was arrested near the intersection of 130th Street and Quaker Avenue following a single-vehicle crash. He was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, according to the records.

In addition to the DWI charge, he was also charged with Failure to Leave Information After Damaging a Structure.

Thrash's bond was set at $2,500 but was received from LCDC a few hours later.

South Plains LIVE! has contacted the Lubbock Independent School District for comment on his employment situation, but no response has been received.
