Double Homicide Fugitive Joins Texas Top 10 Most Wanted List

 

AUSTIN, TX — The Texas Department of Public Safety is turning to the public for help locating Rondarrius Davon Idae Evans, 21, from New Boston, who has been added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives List.

According to DPS, Evans is wanted in connection with a double homicide in New Boston that took place on July 6, 2024.

Evans faces two counts of capital murder in Bowie County for the deaths of two individuals. In addition to these charges, Evans also has a warrant out for his arrest in Titus County after he failed to appear in court for a drug-related offense.

Authorities believe Evans is still in the Northeast Texas area and may have connections to counties such as Bowie, Camp, Titus, Franklin, and Morris.

DPS describes Evans as 6 feet tall, weighing approximately 175 pounds, and is urging anyone with information to come forward. Texas Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for any tips that lead to Evans’ arrest, and all tips are guaranteed to remain anonymous.

Any information about Rondarrius Evans, tips can be submitted anonymously by calling the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477), submitting a tip through the DPS website, or using Facebook by clicking the “Submit a Tip” link under the “About” section.

Since January 2025, DPS and other law enforcement agencies have successfully arrested 21 individuals from the Texas 10 Most Wanted list, and over $22,000 has been paid out in rewards.
