Lubbock PD Asks for Public's Help After Man Found Dead

 

LUBBOCK, TX — The Lubbock Metropolitan Special Crimes Unit is asking for the public’s help in a fatal shooting in Central Lubbock.

On Thursday, May 29, officers with the Lubbock Police Department were called to the 3400 block of 23rd Street around 5:55 p.m. in response to a report of a dead body. When officers arrived, they found Roshaud Ward, 33, dead from a gunshot wound.

Authorities have not released further details on Ward’s death, but confirmed the investigation is ongoing.
