City of Lubbock Offices to Close for Labor Day

 

LUBBOCK, TX – City of Lubbock offices will be closed for Labor Day on Monday, September 2. A press release indicated that certain city facilities and operations will have adjusted hours for the holiday weekend.

Normal operations will resume on Tuesday, September 3rd, according to the release.

Here is a list of city offices that will be closed for Labor Day:

Recycling/Landfill Operations

  • Both landfills will be closed on Monday, September 2, and will resume normal operations on Tuesday, September 3.
  • Attended drop-off stations will be closed on Monday, September 2, and will resume normal operations on Tuesday, September 3.

Libraries

All Lubbock Public Library locations will be closed on Monday, September 2.

Community Centers

All community and senior centers will be closed on Monday, September 2, and will resume normal hours of operation on Tuesday, September 3.
