Chief of Police Gives Tips Before Kickoff in Red Raider Fashion

 

LUBBOCK, TX – Lubbock Police Department and Chief of Police, Seth Herman, advise gameday goers on safety precautions in a light-hearted video ahead of the Red Raiders home opener on Saturday, August 31.

Excited for his first gameday, Chief Herman is shown on a small horse as the “Unofficial Masked Raider” giving a few safety tips for the big game.

Chief Herman suggests watching out for Lubbock Police officers on the road protecting and directing traffic, keeping an eye on the flow of traffic due to the hectic nature of the area before the games, keeping any valuables at your residence before kickoff, calling an Uber, friend, or relative to eliminate drinking and driving, and to get your guns up and Wreck Em’ Tech!

The Texas Tech Red Raiders play the Abilene Christian Wildcats at home on Saturday, August 31 at 6:30 p.m.
