Vehicle Crash in East Lubbock Leaves Car Submerged in Water

 

LUBBOCK, TX – On Sunday evening, a crash between two vehicles led to one submerging in the Dunbar Historical Lake, near the 2300 block of MBK Boulevard, according to a release.

The Lubbock Fire Rescue Dive Team was called to Mae Simmons Park to help pull the vehicle out of the water.

The Lubbock Help Desk received the call around 6:28 p.m. and reported only minor injuries at the scene.

All passengers have been safely accounted for. 

The investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
