LPD to Launch New Dispatch and Records System

LUBBOCK, TX – The Lubbock Police Department will roll out its new Computer-Aided Dispatch and Records Management System from Central Square Technologies on Tuesday, September 24.

This update aims to enhance the efficiency of the report-writing process for officers and improve integration with body-worn camera technology.

However, the current online reporting system at LubbockPolice.com will be unavailable to the public starting Thursday, September 19, at 3:30 p.m.

During this transition, the public will also lose access to the online report viewing and the department's crime map as the City of Lubbock develops a new portal.

Residents are encouraged to use the Lubbock Police Department's non-emergency number at 806-775-2817 to file reports over the phone for the time being.

For those wishing to meet with an officer in person, they can call 806-775-2865 or visit the front desk at police department headquarters located at 1205 15th Street or any local division station.

The Lubbock City Council approved the CAD/RMS system in March 2023, marking a significant step forward in the department's operational capabilities.

Further updates will be provided as the new system is implemented.
