UMC Urgent Care Celebrates Grand Opening in Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX — UMC Urgent Care, a Department of UMC at the Health & Wellness Hospital, celebrates its grand opening with a groundbreaking ceremony today, September 25, 2024, hosted by the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce.

According to their website, University Medical Center opened in 1978 and has been at the forefront of medical care delivery for Lubbock and the region. Through its partnership with Texas Tech, UMC offers leading-edge research and technology, including several nationally recognized clinical trials in breast and prostate cancer. UMC has the only Level I Trauma Center and the only burn center in the region.

UMC’s newest urgent care clinic is located at 11102 Headquarters Drive and will open on October 1, 2024.
