Citibus Offers Free Rides to Polls on Election Day

 

LUBBOCK, TX — Citibus is encouraging voter participation by offering free fare on all services on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, making it easier for Lubbock residents to reach polling stations and exercise their right to vote.

According to a press release, all Citibus services, including fixed routes, on-demand rides, and paratransit, will be free throughout Election Day.

By eliminating transportation fees, Citibus ensures that everyone, regardless of their transportation needs or location, can access the polls without the burden of additional expenses.

The release states that buses will operate regularly, providing voters access to the polls.
