Construction Work Closes Lanes on Indiana Ave.

LUBBOCK, TX — Starting Monday, October 28, Barricades Unlimited will close one northbound lane on Indiana Ave. and one eastbound left turn lane on 50th Street to perform construction tasks by Grady Crawford Construction.

According to a press release from the City of Lubbock, the work is expected to last five days, weather permitting.

Traffic management staff will be on-site to monitor the situation and may adjust signal timing as necessary. However, motorists should anticipate congestion and delays at the intersection, particularly during morning and afternoon peak hours.

The release states that the city advises drivers to consider using alternate routes, minimize distractions, and allow extra travel time when navigating the area during this construction period.
