Blaze at Northeast Lubbock Residence Injures One

LUBBOCK, TX — The Lubbock County Sheriff's Office received a call about a fire inside a residence at the 5800 block of East Private Road 6515 at approximately 8:30 a.m. on October 31.

Roosevelt and Idalou Volunteer Fire Departments and Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office authorities responded to the scene. When they arrived, firefighters discovered a blaze inside the residence.

According to a press release, a woman was treated for injuries sustained in the fire and was transported by EMS to University Medical Center for further care.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, and authorities are working to assess the extent of the damage.
