LUBBOCK, TX — Catholic Charities Diocese of Lubbock, a nonprofit organization, celebrated 40 years of dedicated service to the community with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce.

According to its website, Catholic Charities Diocese of Lubbock has assisted approximately three-quarters of a million individuals in its 40-year history, providing essential support and resources to help those in need across West Texas and the South Plains. Catholic Charities of Lubbock has been a vital part of the West Texas community, serving all 25 counties within the Diocese of Lubbock and 11 counties through their Family and Youth Success grant. Since 1984, Catholic Charities has provided essential services such as free counseling to youth and families, emergency assistance, and educational programs to individuals and families in need. Catholic Charities serves everyone regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, gender, or orientation.
Catholic Charities Diocese of Lubbock is located at 102 Avenue J. and is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. They are closed on Saturday and Sunday.
