City of Lubbock Announces 68th Annual Santa Land Opening

 

LUBBOCK, TX — The City of Lubbock Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with Champion Energy, announced the opening of the 68th Annual Santa Land.

According to a press release, Lubbock’s annual holiday tradition will begin on Monday, December 9, and run through Sunday, December 22. Visitors can enjoy the festivities daily from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at 600 Cesar E. Chavez Drive.

Guests can stroll through a festive holiday village featuring a 50-foot Christmas tree, animated displays, and the chance to take pictures with Santa. The event is open to the public, and admission is free for all ages.

Additionally, there are opportunities for volunteers and entertainment groups to participate in this year’s Santa Land.
