Lubbock City Council to Canvass Election Results

 

LUBBOCK, TX—The Lubbock City Council will meet on Thursday, November 14, at 11:30 a.m. to officially canvass the votes from the November 5 special municipal elections.

According to a press release, the meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers at Citizens Tower, located at 1314 Avenue K.

During the meeting, the Council will vote to accept the election returns for two key items: approving a $103.4 million Street Bond for citywide street improvements and annexing the Highland Oaks subdivision.

The public is welcome to attend the meeting in person or watch it at home on Optimum Channel 2 or at mylubbock.us/video.
