LUBBOCK, TX — Texas Tech University will host its 66th Annual Carol of Lights on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. at the Science Quadrangle, located west of Memorial Circle on campus.
The event will kick off with a carillon concert at 6:30 p.m., followed by a torchlight processional at 7:00 p.m. featuring Raider Red, the Masked Rider, and the Saddle Tramps. A little after 7:00 p.m., more than 25,000 lights will illuminate all around the campus.

This year, pop-rock band American Authors will perform songs from their new holiday album, Christmas Karaoke. A fireworks display will close the celebration.
The event is free and open to the public. It will also be broadcast live on KTTZ-PBS in Lubbock and KCOS-PBS in El Paso and streamed on Texas Tech’s YouTube channel.
Public and ADA parking is available on campus, with designated lots for event parking.

For safety, a clear bag policy will be in effect. Strollers and lawn chairs are allowed but subject to security checks.
