LUBBOCK, TX — The Junior League of Lubbock’s Holiday Happening, Lubbock’s 5-day holiday market, celebrated the kick-off to the event with a ribbon-cutting ceremony from the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce.

According to their website, for over 40 years, the Junior League of Lubbock’s holiday market, Holiday Happening, has offered a festive way to kick off the holiday season while benefiting community projects. The five-day event—always held the week before Thanksgiving—at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center- features more than 130 merchants, specialty ticketed events, a week-long online auction, and more. Holiday Happening serves as the primary fundraiser for the Junior League of Lubbock and contributes over $400,000 each year toward its endeavors.
Although ticket presales have closed, anyone who wants to attend may still buy tickets at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center ticket booth.
The Holiday Happening event will be held at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center at 1501 Mac Davis Lane from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday (Stroller-free), 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon to 5:00 p.m. Sunday.
