TTU and AARP Team Up to Warn Texans About Scams

 

LUBBOCK, TX — On November 22, Texas Tech University School of Business students, AARP Texas staff and volunteers, and representatives from Plains Capital Bank will team up to warn Texans about common scams and provide important fraud prevention tips.

AARP Texas will host a Reverse Boiler Room Call Center at The Overton Hotel & Conference Center in Lubbock, where volunteers will call residents across the state.

The goal is to reach hundreds of Texans with critical information on protecting themselves and their families from fraud.
