LISD Board of Trustees Meet to Discuss Campus Changes

 

LUBBOCK, TX — The Lubbock ISD Board of Trustees will meet on Thursday, November 21, at 6:00 p.m.

According to a press release, the meeting will be held in the boardroom at the LISD Central Office at 1628 19th St. in Lubbock, Texas, and live-streamed on the Lubbock ISD YouTube channel.

Future Focus Committee Recommendations:

Administrators will present recommendations for campus changes for the 2025-2026 school year. This is an informational presentation, and no vote will be taken. A vote will occur at a Special Called Meeting on December 4, 2024.

Classification of Fund Balance:

The board will discuss designating a portion of the district's financial reserves to maintain financial stability and manage cash flow.

2023-2024 Annual Financial and Compliance Report:

The board will review the district’s annual financial audit, which includes an analysis of revenues, expenditures, and compliance.

The meeting is open to the public, and the board may enter a closed session if necessary. However, any final decisions will be made in an open session.
