LUBBOCK, TX—The Overton Hotel & Conference Center celebrates the holiday season with its Annual Gingerbread Display, themed "A Light of Hope."
The display will benefit the Texas Girls and Boys Ranch, a non-profit that supports children and families in West Texas.
This year’s display features a 10-foot-tall gingerbread lighthouse, symbolizing the guidance and support provided by the Texas Girls and Boys Ranch. It will be open to the public in the hotel lobby from December 3rd to December 31st.
Donations to the Texas Girls and Boys Ranch can be made at the hotel’s front desk. In honor of each donor, an ornament will be placed on the hotel’s Christmas tree.
The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce will host the official ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Overton Hotel on Tuesday, December 3rd, at 4:00 p.m. The event is free to attend, and hot cocoa and cookies will be available.
