LUBBOCK, TX – Citibus Lubbock is making celebrating 2025 safely this New Year’s Eve easier by offering free SafeRides.
From 8:00 p.m. on December 31 until 2:30 a.m. on January 1, Citibus offers free pickups and drop-offs anywhere within Lubbock city limits.
Citibus also offers a “Fixed Route Service” throughout Lubbock, with buses running on a set schedule. These fixed routes make it easier to get around the city, and all buses are fully accessible for passengers with disabilities.
Keep in mind that Citibus does not operate on the following holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
Citibus encourages Lubbockites to use the GoPass app to book a ride home after celebrating the New Year.
