Restaurant's Reopening Marks Lubbock's First Business of 2025

LUBBOCK, TX – Lubbock’s beloved hometown diner, Tech Café, officially reopened its doors on Thursday, January 2, after closing in September 2023.

Following a series of renovations, the café now features a fresh interior and a brand-new salad bar. In a social media post on the LBK Foodies page announcing the grand reopening, Tech Café revealed that the salad bar would be free to customers who order lunch or dinner.

"Renovations are done, and the staff is ready to serve," the post stated.

With its reopening, Tech Café became the first business in Lubbock to open in 2025.

Tech Café is located at 1524 50th Street and is serving up new dishes alongside its classic and affordable menu.
