24 Hour ATM Cupcake Shop Shuts Down Lubbock Location

LUBBOCK, TX – After only a little over a year in business, Sprinkles, the cupcake chain with 24-hour cupcake ATMs, is closing its Lubbock store.

The bakery opened in November 2023, and the company announced on a Facebook post that Saturday, January 11, will be the bakery's last day.

When Sprinkles first opened in Lubbock, it seemed like a big surprise. The cupcake brand is known for its locations in major cities, including Beverly Hills, Las Vegas, Dallas, and Chicago.

Lubbock didn’t seem like the typical place for a Sprinkles store. However, with the city's growing food scene, the bakery took a chance in the Hub City.

In the post, Sprinkles thanked Lubbock for its support over the past year but said it would close up shop soon. The company also confirmed that all of its ATMs have already been shut down, and anyone with gift cards should use them before the store closes.

Sprinkles also announced they are selling their bakery equipment, including an industrial mixer and cupcake pans.

The last day to visit the Lubbock Sprinkles location at 8004 Quaker Avenue is Saturday, January 11.
