LUBBOCK, TX — The City of Lubbock is now accepting applications for the 2025 Lubbock 101 Citizens Academy.
According to a release from the City of Lubbock, the academy will include 8 classroom sessions, tours of City departments, and field trips to places like Fleet Services, the Water Treatment and Distribution plant, and the Airport Fire Station.
The program will start on Thursday, March 27, and end with a graduation ceremony at the Lubbock City Council meeting on Tuesday, May 13.
Enrollment is open to all Lubbock residents, but space is limited, says the release. Those interested in enrolling must submit an application by March 3.
