Slaton, BSL Firefighters Tackle Blaze at Unoccupied Trailer

 

SLATON, TX — At approximately 3:28 p.m. on January 20, Slaton and Buffalo Springs Volunteer Fire Departments were dispatched to a fire at an unoccupied travel trailer in Slaton.

The Lubbock County Sheriff's Office received a call of reports of a fire in the 6100 block of East County Road 7300.

Fire crews were able to contain the blaze, and there is currently no threat to nearby structures, said LCSO. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and no injuries were reported.

Updates will be provided as more information is released, and authorities are working to determine how the fire started.
