LUBBOCK, TX — F&F Japanese Grill, a cook-to-order Japanese casual restaurant, celebrated the Lunar New Year with a ribbon cutting presented by the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce.
Watch the ribbon-cutting ceremony below:
According to F&F’s website, the restaurant created a place where people can enjoy Japanese cuisine without breaking the bank or spending too much time. By introducing a new "F&F,” or Fast and Furious, style of cooking and serving, they focus on high-quality ingredients delivered quickly to the customer.
Andy Wynn, owner of F&F Japanese Grill, explained that the Dallas location was originally named Fast & Furious. However, after being open for over 5 years, they received a letter from Universal Studios requesting a name change due to copyright concerns. To avoid legal trouble, the owners decided to shorten the name to F&F. Wynn also mentioned that the Fast & Furious name still occasionally shows up in Google searches.
F&F is located at 6616 Milwaukee Avenue, Suite #400, and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
