Frankford Avenue to Close Feb. 3 for Water Line Work

LUBBOCK, TX — A section of Frankford Avenue will be closed to all traffic between 122nd and 130th Streets on Monday, February 3.

According to a press release from the City of Lubbock, the closure is part of a project by Shaw Services to install a new water line. The project was initially scheduled for Friday, January 31, but an update has noted the date has moved to February 3.

The work is expected to wrap up by February 7, weather permitting.

Drivers should find alternate routes and plan for extra time when traveling through the area.
