Water Tower Demolition Begins Monday

LUBBOCK, TX — The City of Lubbock announced on Thursday that Trifecta Services Company will begin demolishing a water tower at 74th Street and Genoa Avenue on Monday, February 10.

The project is expected to cause traffic delays and detours in the area throughout the demolition process.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible and to be cautious when traveling through the construction zone.

Officials anticipate that the demolition and related work will be completed by June.
