Memphis Avenue Concrete Repairs to Start Next Week

LUBBOCK, TX – Concrete pavement repairs will begin on Memphis Avenue, from South Loop 289 to 76th Street, on Monday, March 17.

This road provides access to Southcrest Baptist Church and the Kings Park neighborhood from the access road of South Loop 289.

According to a press release, the City of Lubbock has contracted Omega 4 Construction, LLC for the project. Weather permitting, the repairs are expected to take about two weeks.

During the repairs, parts of the road will be closed, and traffic flow will be changed. Motorists should expect delays and find alternate routes. Signs and barricades will be set up around the work zone for safety.

For any questions or concerns, the Street Department can be reached at 806-775-2608.
