LUBBOCK, TX — A lucky Lubbock resident recently won $1 million in the Texas Lottery scratch-off game, 500X.
According to a press release, the winning ticket was purchased at Sonik Food Mart, located at 3908 Avenue Q in Lubbock.
The winner chose to stay anonymous and is the seventh person to claim one of the 15 top $1 million prizes in the 500X game, with over $229 million in total prizes.
The odds of winning any prize in the game, including smaller break-even prizes, are 1 in 3.36, says the Texas Lottery.
