Buddy Holly Center to Feature New "In Silico" Exhibit for FFAT

 

LUBBOCK, TX — On Friday, April 4, the Buddy Holly Center will host a new exhibit, In Silico, as part of Lubbock’s First Friday Art Trail.

According to a press release, In Silico, created by artist Sean W. Scully and his collaborators, explores the merging of science fiction with traditional art forms like jewelry, papercraft, and design. 

The artists will be present during the event, and the exhibition will be available in the Fine Arts Gallery through May 18.

The exhibit, located at 1801 Crickets Avenue, will be open from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The event is free to attend and offers refreshments, though outside food or drinks are not permitted.

First Friday Art Trail is a monthly event organized by the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts and takes place on the first Friday of each month.
