Code Deployment Coming to Greenlawn Neighborhood

LUBBOCK, TX The City of Lubbock's Code Administration Department will conduct a Neighborhood Deployment in the Greenlawn area on Wednesday, April 9, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

According to a statement released by the City of Lubbock, the deployment will focus on the area bordered by 19th Street, Slide Road, 34th Street, and Frankford Avenue.

During this exercise, Code Inspectors will identify violations of junked vehicles, nuisance weeds and rubbish, substandard housing, and zoning issues. They will also engage with residents, provide information about city ordinances, issue citations for violations, and potentially address violations on-site.

The City's Solid Waste Department will also provide a roll-off dumpster at the designated field office at 5919 29th Drive so residents can dispose of bulky, unwanted items such as furniture, appliances, and tree trimmings.

Residents of the Greenlawn neighborhood are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to improve the upkeep of their properties.
